Award: AppTec is EMM Champion 2024

AppTec has been awarded by techconsult as champion in the category MDM/EMM/UEM solutions. The award is the result of the “Professional User Rating (PUR) 2024: Security Solutions”, for which more than 3,500 user companies evaluated IT security vendors and their solutions for the eighth time. The research and analyst firm techconsult is a company of the Heise Publishing Group, known to many through the magazines c’t, ix and Mac & i, for example.

For the rating, users assessed the performance of more than 110 manufacturers offering IT security solutions on the German-speaking market. The final result is made up of the assessments of two dimensions – the Company Rating (manufacturer rating) and the Technology/Solution Rating (solution rating). More than 60 criteria in 14 sub-categories are taken into account.

All manufacturers are placed in the techconsult diamond depending on their rating. The higher the position in the diamond, the better the manufacturer’s rating. With its AppTec360 Endpoint Manager solution, the Swiss provider AppTec emerged from the rating as the highest-rated company and was thus able to secure the title of champion. The EMM provider has thus succeeded in distinguishing itself from its customers in both dimensions, with the Company Rating focusing on aspects relating to the company and its positioning in the market, while the Technology/Solution Rating dimension focuses on the solution and the technologies used for it.
